Durcifast transforms Deproma Rustproof Paint into a polyurethane anti rust compound
Durcifast reduces drying time by 50%, improves resistance to abrasion and shock, and increases the chemical resistance.
Durcifast increases the gloss finish
Durcifast can be used in the final coat of Deproma Rustproof Paint when it is necessary to have a harder surface or in areas subject to aggressive use, such as footbridges, walkways, areas of high humidity or gases etc.
The recommended usage is 10% maximum
Mix Durcifast with Deproma Rustproof Paint at the rate of 100ml per litre of paint. Stir well to obtain a homogeneous mixture
Above 10% Durcifast has no effect on the drying time and can reduce the mechanical properies.

The storage area must be kept clean by frequent cleaning. Personal wear apparel should be specifically for the work place and be regularly cleaned. Personal hygiene must be scrupulously respected. No food and drink to be consumed in the vicinity of the product. All containers must be kept firmly closed. Large quantities of stock should be stored in accordance with regulations.
The product should be kept in its original container.
When handling the product a breathing mask, safety goggles and gloves should be worn in accordance with manufacturers recommendations.
In case of application by spraying, do not inhale the vapour.
In case of insufficient ventilation, make sure that the vapours are collected at source or alternatively protective breathing apparatus should be provided for the operators
In case of leakage or accidental spillage, cover with an inert absorbent i.e. sand or earth and remove it by lifting with tolls which do not cause sparks. Clean with detergents - avoid solvents.

Harmful if in contact with the skin or if consumed. Inhalation of the vapours will cause irritation in particular to the mucus membranes and the lungs. Personnel with allergies or asthmatics should not work with paints containing iscyanates.
In case of contact with skin or clothes, wash with water and soap. Rinse well with water. Rinse eyes for 10/15 minutes with water. Consult a specialist doctor. In case of sickness, carry the person to fresh air, apply artificial respiration keeping them warm. In case of swallowing, induce vomiting and call a doctor.
Do not dispose of down the drains. The product and containers should be destroyed in accordance with local government. Do not burn a closed container. Incinerate at an approved installation.
During the handling of paints containing isocyanates, it is necessary to observe the same precautions as those for paint containing solvents.
