USAGE
|
- Anticorrosion protection, anti-acid and anti-alkali
for concrete surfaces, cement, wood and metal.
- Provides floor coatings for chemical industries of
0.5 to 3mm thick.
- Produces clean, smooth and flat floors for many
industries including nuclear and food processing.
- Allows the storage and the transport of all food
products and alcoholic solutions.
- Can be applied under water, with a vacuum system
and continues to dry under water.

ADVANTAGES

METHOD OF APPLICATION
|
- The surface must be clean, sound and dry; free from
all other non Epoxy paint.
- Cracks and rough areas must be filled in.
|
|
1. Preparation of surfaces:
|
- Metals; degrease and sandblast. DS 2.5 to DS 3.
- New or old cement: sandblast, clean thoroughly with
Deproma CIM. Rince well and allow to dry for 48 hours (humidity test
recommended).
- New or old wood: sand and dust.

2. Preparation of the mixture
|
- Carefully add the hardener (delivered with the
product).
- Mix well for five minutes.
- Length of life of the mixture at 20 degrees C: 25
to 40 minutes
|

3. Application
|
- Either use a hard brush or a spatula for the first
layer in order to assure the maximum adhesion.
- After 6 to 12 hours drying, apply a second layer
with the help of a hard brush to get a film of at least 300 microns.
- Wait for one week for a complete hardening of the
coating. Rinse well with clean and hot water before allowing contact
with food products.
- To get a perfectly non-skid floor we suggest
sprinkling glass micro-marbles as soon as the first application of
Deproma Anti Acid Impact Paint has been applied. After drying, sweep the
surplus off and apply the second layer normally. It is the most economic
and most practical way to make the coating non-skid.
